In a nutshell, it is to generate revenue through sponsorship sales. It also performs the role of contractual delivery to ensure that both sponsors and rights holders are deriving the optimal benefit from the relationship. The sales team acts as an interface to each rights holders own commercial department, firstly in evaluating the current inventory of rights and sponsors and then in designing a bespoke sponsorship programme to take to the market.
